The documentary is about the 1982 murder of 27-year-old Vincent Chin (a Chinese American) by two unemployed Detroit auto workers who mistook Vincent Chin for a Japanese person. The two killers were given a lenient sentence. This film documents how this case ignited the Asian American Civil Rights movement.
